About the appeal

Lichfield Cathedral's beautiful Renaissance Herkenrode stained glass has been removed for restoration and the East End of the Cathedral has undergone major stonework repair and renovation, including the creation of new gargoyles and grotesques. We are inviting schools to support this appeal by contributing to the upkeep of the habitat of the new gargoyles.
